500g beef (thinly sliced)
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 tbsp cornstarch
Ground pepper (to taste)
2 cups water
1 beef cube
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 onion (sliced)
1 bitter gourd (sliced thinly)
1 red bell pepper (sliced)
Salt and water (for soaking the bitter gourd)

Step-by-Step Recipe:

Prepare the Beef:

Place 500g of thinly sliced beef in a pan or bowl.
Add 2 tbsp soy sauce, 1 tbsp oyster sauce, 1 tbsp cornstarch, and ground pepper to taste.
Mix everything thoroughly to coat the beef evenly in the marinade.
Let the beef marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Sauté Garlic and Onions:

Heat a pan with some cooking oil.
Add 2 cloves of minced garlic and stir until fragrant.
Add 1 sliced onion and cook until softened and translucent.

Cook the Marinated Beef:

Add the marinated beef to the pan with garlic and onions.
Stir well to combine.
Cover the pan and cook for a few minutes until the beef begins to brown.

Add Water and Beef Cube:

Pour in 2 cups of water and add 1 beef cube.
Stir well to dissolve the cube.
