Qantas Flight 923 from Cairns to Sydney, operated by Airbus A330-200.

It's been a while since I flew on Qantas or an A330 and boy did I enjoy this flight! As a cherry on top, we had to go around during our landing attempt in Sydney too.

It was windy for the whole approach and we could feel every little bit of the continuous corrections that aircraft is making to compensate for the wind. As we were about to touch down, you can see in the video that the aircraft floated for a bit before the pilots decided to go around.

The FO later briefed that the go around was caused by wind-change. Nonetheless, as an avgeek, it was actually cool to experience the go around (my second ever go around and my first in a wide-body) and I did not mind the extra 10 minutes of flying :D
