I visited one of the oldest restaurants in Sendai called Toyokan. It’s a Ryoutei, or traditional high-class Japanese restaurant, that serves Kaiseki cuisine - a multi-dish course that serves local, fresh, and seasonal ingredients.

I’ll talk to the manager and good friend, Kazuki San, about the history of the restaurant as well as future plans! All this, while enjoying some delicious food, a GIANT melon shaved ice, and a secret present for all those watching!
