Magnus Carlsen just CRUSHED Vincent Keymer in 28 moves using a shocking bishop sacrifice in the weekly Titled Tuesday tournament on chess.com! This bishop sacrifice was so shocking, because Magnus gave up the bishop vs Vincent Keymer for 3 connected passed pawns on the queenside!

In the game Magnus Carlsen opened 1.Nf3 and then 2.c4 and 3.b3, heading for an interesting version of the English Opening where you fianchetto the bishop on b2, while his opponent Vincent Keymer went for a solid setup in the spirit of the Queen's Gambit Declined.

From there Magnus slowly developed his pieces, and then finally advanced on the queenside with the move c5, gaining space and giving himself a 3 vs 2 pawn majority on the queenside vs Vincent Keymer! Of course Magnus Carlsen's move c5 set up his immortal bishop sacrifice, where Magnus sacrificed his bishop to crush Vincent Keymer with 3 connected passed pawns on the queenside! In the end, Magnus Carlsen crushed Vincent Keymer in just 28 moves, a shocking achievement for the GOAT Magnus Carlsen!
