As the race for president tightens further, former President Donald Trump campaigned in storm-ravaged western North Carolina amid fallout from controversial comments he made over the weekend in Pennsylvania. NBC News' Garrett Haake reports.

Vice President Kamala Harris campaigned in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania in a series of events aimed at appealing to women and Republican voters. Harris also reacted to what she called demeaning comments from former President Trump over the weekend. NBC News' Kelly O'Donnell reports.
