Darjeeling Ropeway is a ropeway transport system in Darjeeling in the state of West Bengal. It provides services between Darjeeling and Singlabazar. This ropeway transport is one of the tourist attractions of Darjeeling. This transport system was first started in 1968 between Darjeeling and Sinlabazar. The Rammam River and Rammam Valley are below this ropeway. In 2003 there was an accident in this ropeway service; As a result of which 4 tourists died. The service was then suspended for 8 years and resumed service on February 2, 2012.
