The Pukenui Holiday Park is an ideal base for a fishing and camping trip to the magical Hohoura Harbour in the Far North of New Zealand. After exploring the Wagener Holiday Park in a previous episode we decided to come back here to check out this nifty little campground as it is situated very close to the famous Pukenui wharf.

We challenged ourselves to catch fish only on lures and only land-based this time.
We hoped to land a kingfish on stick baits or perhaps snapper or John dory on soft plastics.
It was unexpectedly tough. Could we achieve this mission?
