Mammal Protection Regulations In New Zealand, The flying of drones in less that 150m close to whales among other things is prohibited. I was unaware of this at the time, only aware that I should not be swimming with them. While a lot of the footage is shot high out of these parameters, there is some footage that is well under that so is. Illegal. I am writing this to inform others of this rule so hopefully you can be more aware and not do the same as I did! Cheers
