LGCM ANSWERS YOUR SAUSAGE QUESTIONS!

Some of our brats are fresh and some are precooked. Simply put, our fresh sausages (even if they're frozen) come in white butcher paper and are not cooked. You need to cook them all the way through to 165ºF before eating them. Our precooked sausages (which include smoked sausages) have been fully cooked in our smokehouse and they are safe to eat right out of the package, just warm them on a grill or microwave before eating them.
