It's an accurate, carefully created piano arrangement of the full song.

Sting wrote the song inspired by the view from his 16th-century house in Wiltshire, saying that the house "is surrounded by barley fields, and in the summer it's fascinating to watch the wind moving over the shimmering surface, like waves on an ocean of gold".

The song was included on his 1993 album "Ten Summoner's Tales" and became one of his biggest hits.

Famous cover versions were recorded by Eva Cassidy and Katie Melua.

"Fields of Gold" became a famous classic, and it makes for a wonderful piano ballad!
