NLTV while talking to Mr. Hanji vice president, Yimkhiung tribal council said Metümnyo festival is one of the most important festivals of the yimkhiung Nagas, this festival is also the purification and sanctification of children. The significance of metümnyo also brings the community together to restore peace and harmony, also observed to pray for protecting the crops from bad disasters. This festival also purifies the life of children and extends life long and signifies love and unity.
