Dr. Richard Swinburne, who is Emeritus Nolloth Professor of the Philosophy of the Christian Religion at the University of Oxford, spoke at The King’s College on the topic of “Are We Bodies or Souls?” In this talk, Dr. Swinburne explores Cartesian substance dualism, the view that the mind or soul can exist independently of the body and brain.
