멀티미디어 영상전시 ‘빛의 채석장 Carrières des lumières’에서 2022년 3월 4일 – 2023년 1월 15일 ‘베니스, 고귀함 Venise, La Sérénissime’ & ‘이브 클라인의 영원한 Bleu’ 공연.

마을 가까이에 위치하여 성과 마을 건축에 필요한 석회암을 캐던 지하 채석장이 1935년 폐쇄되는데, 캄캄한 복도, 거대한 벽면의 아름다움에 매료된 ‘장 콕토 Jean Cocteau’는 이 채석장에서 영화 “오르페의 유언 Le Testament d’Orphée”(1959)을 촬영하였던 곳이다.

반 고흐, 모네, 피카소, 샤갈, 세잔, 클림트, 마티스 등등 대가들의 작품을 AMIEX(Art & Music Immersive Experience) 기술로 디지털화된 영상들이 음악에 맞추어 채석장의 바닥, 벽, 기둥, 천장에 프로젝터로 투사되어 웅장함과 신비로움을 제공한다.

베르메르에서 고흐까지 De Vermeer à Van Gogh
정치적, 경제적, 문화적으로 전성기를 구가하던 네덜란드의 ‘황금 시대’ 17세기 중엽에 활동한 네덜란드 출신 화가 ‘요하네스 베르메르'(Johannes Vermeer)로 부터 ‘반 고흐’로 이어지는 네덜란드 화가들의 작품을 디지털 영상으로 2월 23일부터 만날 수 있다.

At the multimedia video exhibition ‘Carrières des lumières’, performances of ‘Venise, La Sérénissime’ & ‘Yves Klein’s Eternal Bleu’ from March 4, 2022 – January 15, 2023.

The underground quarry located close to the village, where limestone needed to build the castle and village was mined, was closed in 1935. Jean Cocteau, who was fascinated by the beauty of the dark corridors and huge walls, used this quarry to film the movie “Le Testament d'Orphée.” This is where “Orphée” (1959) was filmed.

Images of works by masters such as Van Gogh, Monet, Picasso, Chagall, Cézanne, Klimt, Matisse, etc., digitized using AMIEX (Art & Music Immersive Experience) technology, are projected on the floor, walls, pillars, and ceiling of the quarry in sync with music using a projector. It provides grandeur and mystery.

From Vermeer to Van Gogh
Digital video of the works of Dutch painters from Johannes Vermeer, a Dutch painter active in the mid-17th century, to Van Gogh, during the Dutch 'Golden Age', which was at its peak politically, economically and culturally. You can meet from February 23rd.
