ive been working on this song since july of 2021 when i developed a crush on someone very dear to me. i’m very confident with the way i speak but this boy was the first person to ever make me fumble over my words and hide my face in embarrassment. he was very charming and i was having trouble trying to express anything because of it. it took me 30 minutes to call him attractive.

i left a phone call in denial about having a crush on him. i wasn’t gonna start liking someone just because some guy i recently met was somewhat cute and was nice to me a couple of times. but the more time i spent with him, the more i just accepted the fact that this was happening, and i wasn’t upset about it. i liked liking him. he made me feel so special, and cared for. early crush stages are so blissful so i wrote exactly what i was feeling after that call.

i will always miss the month of july because of him. he’s probably reading this description right now actually. hi crush!! :)) a lot has changed since the first time i showed you this song but i really hope you still appreciate this song as much as i do. you deserve so many good things and i would’ve never written this for you if you didn’t. take care!! :))
