Having not set foot in the Kruger National Park for 19 years, a palpable excitement fuelled our determination to make this trip happen before two decades passed. The road to our destination was a long one, but every kilometre we travelled was infused with a sense of adventure and the promise of rediscovering the untamed beauty of Kruger. As we left home and enjoyed the diverse landscapes of South Africa, from the amazing Karoo to lush plant life in the Bushveld, the journey became as significant as the destination itself.
