Located in the Gold Country Foothills of the Western Sierra in Jamestown, California is Railtown 1897 State Park.

This small park features a lot of historical railway equipment including a complete round house and turntable, several miles of right of way for rides on historic railway equipment, movie props and Sierra Railway #3, nicknamed the Movie Locomotive because of it's numerous appearances in movies and TV shows including Back to the Future: Part III, Little House on the Prairie, Unforgiven, The Wild Wild West and dozens of other productions.

Unfortunately, Sierra #3 is currently being taken apart piece by piece and inspected as part of the Federal Railroad Administration's mandatory 1472 inspection where it will ultimately be rebuilt and run again.
