While repairing an Ibanez GE10, I noticed that it used four JRC4558 op amps in its circuit. Whereas the Boss GE-7 uses three 022 and one 4558. This got me curious to see if the GE10 in its stock form might have an advantage over the Boss GE-7 when it comes to comparing noise performance.

I had never considered the Ibanez GE10 as a candidate for an equalizer pedal. That was until I recently came across a very clean unit, being sold as "not in working condition" for a relatively good price.
The repair was pretty straightforward, and I had the pedal up and running again. So while I thought I was done doing any videos about equalizer pedals, here is another shootout comparing the noise performance of three EQ pedals.
Hope you enjoy the video and please share your thoughts in the comment section!
