Today our ride will be in Southside Chicago's South Shore Neighborhood on South Jeffrey Boulevard.
South Jeffrey Boulevard is a north south street starting from South Van Vlissingen Road in Jeffrey Manor Neighborhood to Marquette Drive in Jackson Park. The street is relatively short about 4.1 miles in total length but is a commuter route for folks heading north towards South Shore Drive and eventually to Lake Shore Drive. It consists mixture of residential and commercial components along with religious and educational institutions. It passes through Jeffrey Manor, Calumet Heights, Avalon Park and South Shore Neighborhoods. It is served by Metra Electric with Bryn Mawr station on 71st Street.Today we will be driving from 95th street to 67th Street with distance of 3.5 miles and about 12 minutes to complete.
