🌱 Ingredients:
700g | 24 oz | 2 medium sweet potatoes
250g | 9 oz chickpeas
1 shallot
2 garlic cloves
15g parsley
oil for frying
1 tsp cumin (skip it if you prefer a milder taste)
1 tsp dried herbs
1/2 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp chili flakes
1 tbsp nutritional yeast
1 tbsp soy sauce
1/4 tsp salt
yogurt with pepper for the sauce

🥣 Ingredients for the sauce:
1 tbsp cane sugar
2 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp dried garlic
1/4 cup roasted cashews
1/2 cup tomato sauce or ketchup

🧑‍🍳 Cooking tips:
1. You can steam, boil, or simply roast the sweet potatoes beforehand—they should be soft.
2. Use your favorite spices.
3. It’s important to combine all the ingredients and let them sit before frying to allow the flavors to develop.
4. Bake the sweet potato and chickpea patties at 210°C (410°F) for 15 minutes, then brush with sauce and bake for another 15 minutes.
5. You can use any sauce you like; I just used yogurt with pepper.
