hello hello everyone, happy labor day! i guess this is the unofficial end of summer? we've had a couple of crisp and cool mornings the last few weeks and i can definitely tell that as much as i love the warm weather, i'm starting to get really excited for fall. i do really love the winding down that comes with cooler weather, the expectation to be out doing things starts to dissolve and crazy events and social things turn into wholesome dinners with friends and more solo nights making music. this meditation will probablyyyy be the last one i post from this cabin (will still be posting a new meditation every week), i recorded a few more there but i havn't really connected to them as much. at some point ill find a space to post the meditations that dont make it on this channel for people who want to hear those too. for this meditation i actually outlined the chord progression and melody of a song i wrote called "normal people." i really loved the guitar part and it felt good to just exist with it and explore different places i could go with these chords. im setting an intention for the next couple weeks to try and allow myself to slow down a bit. theres so many wonderful things going on and projects that i am releasing (new song next week on spotify toooo !) but i've been feeling a bit wound up throughout the last few weeks. life is really beautiful, just trying to learn to listen to myself more :) . i really love connecting with all of you through these meditations and truly if there is something that relaxes me its these videos i get to make. thanks for being on this journey with me, i hope you all have a really lovely week. see u next week !
