(I have no idea what the heck happened to my microphone for this one so half of it is voiceovers to replace the trashed audio.) I finally got around to an easy task that I put off for awhile. My 1948 CJ2A has a very early civilian (VEC) windshield from a late 1945/early 1946 CJ2A for some reason. I figured the screws would be too rusted to want to come out intact. The cowl to windshield rubber seal needed to be replaced 30 years ago. It was hard as a rock, not sealing due to all the cracks, and it had shrunk a bit which caused the windshield to rattle with every bump in the road. The old rusted screws came out with relative ease and the new seal from Kaiser Willys fit for the most part. It's not a perfect fit but it'll do. The VEC windshield no longer rattles around and as a bonus, the top bows and supports fit a little better than before after some minor adjustments.
