In this video I speak with Makeup Artist Lee Stewart about Her job in Fashion. Beauty is just as much a part of fashion as clothing is.

Lee is a formally trained fine artist who discovered that her true love was painting faces. Often sought out by clients for natural makeup or "French Girl Beauty", Lee is a versatile artist who draws inspiration from Biba 1970's glam and the simplicity of 1940's era makeup.

Lee is an airbrush artist as well as a veteran of New York Fashion week having worked on shows such as Cynthia Rowley, Betsey Johnson, Banana Republic, Trina Turk, Alice & Olivia, Sachin and Bibi, Rag and Bone, Rebecca Minkoff, Cinq a Sept, & American Beauty Show. Her past print and commercial clients include Wilson Sporting Goods, Park Lane Jewelers, SFSPCA, Groupon, Claire's Boutique, McDonald's, Thunder Valley Casino, Revolver Magazine, L'Oreal, Playboy, Master of Mixes, QVC, Dark Garden, ESQ Suits, Citrix, Gwinnie Bee & Cynthia Rowley. Lees's work has been featured in Vogue.com, Womensweardaily.com, CBS NEWS, SF Chronicle and the Chicago Sun Times.

In this interview we discuss how she finds work, professionalism and what her typical work week looks like. Lee has some great nuggets of advice for those just starting out. I'm excited to share this video with you, so you can get to know this particular Job in Fashion, a little more.
Until Next Time,
