Here's my NEW - vintage outboard engine - a Johnson 6hp outboard motor from 1969 and doing a cylinder compression test to see if this old 6 horsepower outboard engine has enough compression in the two cylinders. This old outboard boat engine is a two stroke boat motor and essentially identical to a two stroke 1965 Evinrude Fisherman 6 hp outboard engine and is well suited for small boats like 12 and 14 foot boats.

This old 2 stroke outboard is very good shape for being over 50 years old and these old Evinrudes and Johnson are still quite easily found and easy to get parts for!
