Our intentions with this trip were to complete the last stretch of the Greenbrier; concluding our 162 mile coverage for the video series. However, heavy rains and high water levels presented an experience we will not soon forget. There were several close calls, but as always it proved to be an adventure. As the video progresses, so does the river's intensity. By the time we reached Bacon Falls, we were exhausted. Negotiating those rapids were challenging to say the least. We were only able to island camp the first night. We were forced to paddle the remaining 38 miles on day two; as all available options were under water. We plan to return and run the lower section when conditions are more favorable in order to complete the series, but in the mean time, please enjoy this. It was a wild ride....
