Last summer I hiked the entire HRP from coast to coast. After finishing in Banyuls I filmed all my gear. Very happy with my baseweight of 5.5 kg or 12 lbs (without camera gear). Over the course of this 35-day thru-hike, a lot of items got completely destroyed or lost. Some things like shoes, socks and trekking poles, will only last 1 hike of this caliber. The Pyrenees are dangerous so be prepared!
