A hike across the Plateau d'Emparis above Besse-en-Oisans in the French Alps at the end of September, with the views of La Meije, Écrins Massif, Lac Lérié, and Lac Noir with my 71-year-old mom. A good half-day hike covering about 10-12 km round trip with approx. 500 meters of elevation gain.
