Gil Moore, drummer and vocalist from Canadian rock band Triumph is interviewed in April 1983 on City TV's "The New Music" show (which eventually would inspire the creation of the Much Music channel).

I've sourced this interview from two different places. The first 7 minutes are from an intact segment from the original broadcast which someone had recorded on VHS. The last minute was from the same interview, which may or may not have been broadcast in April of 1983, but was saved in the City TV vaults and used on a Much Music Spotlight on Triumph that aired on January 30th 1993, which I had recorded.

Perhaps the MuchMusic/CityTV vaults have all these old interviews saved and preserved complete and will one day release them to the masses! How awesome would that be!
