It was very strange. I first noticed it on a beam, underneath the deck of the house, we were filming at. This wild rat (not my pet), was literally only feet above my camera and tripod. Freaked out, I had to get the tripod out of there. Thankfully I got it and move it away from the rat. We continue shooting and it showed up again only feet from where we were standing. What was up with this rat? It kept getting so close to us. Then, Abbey tried to scare it away. In doing so, it started running at me. Luckily, I was able to get out of the way. It wouldn't leave us alone. Then to my surprise, while shooting a take comparing these smart hoops, the rat literally got on my shoe. I literally lost it and screamed so loud. I can't believe the rat got on me. I didn't see it coming. Then the rat disappeared after that and was never seen again to this day. How strange???
What makes this really strange is that this occurred while comparing two different smart hula hoops with my friend Abbey, which I think adds to the funny hilarious video factor. Let's face it, Smart weighted hula hoops are funny looking with the centrifugal ball. Though a tool for smart hula hoop workouts and weight loss, it is a very odd combination to have a rat randomly jump on me in this video. Thankfully I survived this encounter to tell about it.
