I have been waiting for about two years for this, and I wasn't sure if it was even going to work. The point-to-point internet service that we had here was awful and constantly dropped, so we had to do something.

Starlink is a low-latency satellite internet service created by Space X's Elon Musk. It requires thousands of low-earth satellites to work and is constantly improving each year as they launch more and more.

The only problem is that it is sensitive to obstacles blocking a north-facing view. Even high up on the roof's peak we still couldn't get a 100% clear view. But, in our current situation, we need to at least try. Here is my experience setting up Starlink on the roof of our house in the woods.
