Wide receiver Malik Washington came to Virginia as a transfer player for one season, and he proceeded to have the greatest single receiving season in UVA football history. His 110 receptions and 1,426 yards each led the ACC in 2023 and set new school records, to go with nine touchdown catches. He also accumulated 1,706 all-purpose yards, the fourth most in the FBS and fifth most in Virginia Football history.
