The knife dance is a Persian wedding ritual that goes back centuries. Someone on the bride's side steals the cake knife and starts dancing with it and the groom has to pay up to get the knife back. But I decided to do something a bit different...

I practiced in secrecy for 6 months learning as much as I could about traditional Persian Dancing and not mixing in other styles. It's tough finding dancing that are not fusion but I found an amazing teacher.

We wouldn't have been able to have our dream wedding if it wasn't for our amazing wedding planner and professional vendors. Tip: Planning was worth every second. It make seem ridiculous but trust me it was all worth it.
