It's winter at the cabin but it's starting to feel like spring! Syrup season is just around the corner and we came up to the cabin to get an inventory of what we need to start maple syrup.

At home, the wood stove is our main source of heat and if you've been to the channel before, you know that our house is 123 years old and has no insulation. We've burned through almost 6 bush cords of wood this season so we decided to start cutting up some maple for next winter.

We also cooked up some steak and potatoes for dinner and were interrupted by a mouse!

We are really looking forward to the syrup season and spending a lot more time at the cabin in the next month!

We hope you enjoy the video and thanks for watching!
