"Located in Yilan, the Taiping Mountain National Forest Recreation Area boasts precious forests and is one of the three major forest areas in Taiwan, along with Alishan and Baguashan. The area also features the scenic and historic Jianqing Huai Gu Trail, which was once selected as one of the 28 most beautiful trails in the world, and the sapphire of Taiping Mountain - Cui Feng Lake. After descending the mountain, visitors can also relax in the hot springs of Jhouzih. It is a very naturally beautiful tourist route.

Although it is steep, cycling this route is definitely worth it!
