A native nano fish that dances?? Today we take a look at a fish that comes in under 1"... with a personality the size of a monster fish! Elassoma Gilberti or the "Gulf Coast Pygmy Sunfish."
I am not legally responsible for any words I mispronounce in this video!! Sources will be updated in the description eventually, I am currently driving to Keystone Clash!
Thank you to everyone who showed so much appreciation for the Freshwater Aquatic Isopod video. I know this isn't an invert, but hopefully, you'll appreciate this little fish as much as I have grown to over the last year or so :)
More Freshwater Aquatic Isopod videos coming in the future! But for a little bit, I'm going to do some less intensive topics haha. But don't worry, the deep dive is coming! #theisopodagenda
But seriously, you don't often come across new/interesting nanofish that can be worked into a community, so I thought this was worth covering! Plus, look at dat color. I wish I had gotten even more footage of the dance cause it really is more ridiculous and long-lasting (pause) than I captured here... but he has been shy over the last few weeks and I lost some of the footage I had been capturing over a few months.
P.s. I'm also not legally responsible if this guy I've labeled as a "community fish" kills everything in your tank or household. It's NUTURe, not NATUrE I blame YOU :(
Anyways!!!! I'll see you all in the comments & in the future. PEACE ~~~
