Today Khoai returned to Giong Trom Ben Tre, one of the biggest coconut growing regions in Vietnam. Talking about coconuts, coconut is a tree that lives both salty and freshwater, and from the mountains to the blue sea, but there is one thing that little people pay attention to, the coconut in the saltwater will be small, the rice and the oil content is more, and coconut grown in freshwater area, the fruit is larger but the amount of oil is lower. The brackish water area in Giong Trom, Mo Cay Ben Tre is the most suitable place for the development of coconut trees, moderate brackish water, so coconut is big and the oil content is still high, combining the silt of the Mekong River, so Coconut quality in this place is considered the best in the world.
Today, Khoai has a chance to go to my hometown of Ben Tre to visit the organic coconut garden and was treated a delicious meal from the coconut by the Hai family. Coconut tree's core chicken salad, soup with coconut tree's core and pig's legs, shrimp brew with coconut milk and lastly is coconut milk sweet soup.
