Continuing to explore different musical styles, MAHAL Studio presents this qawwali rock fusion originally composed as a bhajan by Sant Meerabai in the sixteenth century and popularized by the legend Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. In this version, selected verses of the song are rendered by Pakistani sufi maestros Rizwan and Muazzam (nephews of Khan) and presented with contemporary instruments and dance movements in the signature style of Naad.

Saanson ki maala pe simrun mein pi ka naam
(On the rosary of breath, I chant my beloved's name)

Prem ki maala japte japte aap bani mein shyaam
(Beading the garland of love I became God myself)

Prem ki rang mein aisee dubi, bann gaya ek hi roop
(In the colour of love, I drowned myself and we became one)

Prem piyala jab se piya hai, jee ka hai yeh haal
(Since I drank the love from the glass of love my condition is such)

Ek ka sajan mandir mein aur ek ka preetam masjid mein
(One's beloved is in the Temple and other's is in the Mosque)
