You can also use non-dairy milk like almond or cashew milk as a substitute to dairy milk. I have tried both Silk Protein Original Pea, Almond & Cashewmilk and Silk Protein Unsweetened Pea, Almond & Cashewmilk and it tastes delicious. In this recipe though I am using 2% lactose free dairy milk to make Indian chai tea with ginger and cardamom.

Recipe Ingredients------------------------------------------------------------
2 tea-cups of water
2 cardamom pods
1 tbsp of sugar
1 1/2 tsp of tea powder (Indian tea or english breakfast tea powder)
1/4 cup of milk
1/2 tsp grated ginger
