In this video I head to Athens for a guided street food tour. Since we're not staying directly in Athens, I have to catch a bus and then a train to get to the meeting place for our tour.

Join me as we indulge in some of the best street food Athens has to offer!

After arriving to the meeting point, I look for my guide from Greekality. Greekality is the tour operator for this street food tour. My guide Sophia did an amazing job and I highly recommend booking a tour if you want to learn more about Athens and the food culture.

We walked to our first stop and tried out some pies. Namely spanakopita, it reminded me of Banitsa from Bulgaria. We also tried a second pie with feta cheese.

Then we made our way to eat lunch, some authentic Greek Souvlaki. Paired with a local beer, this was a great lunch. We also learned a lot about the history of Souvlaki and Gyros from our guide.

We walked more to try Greek Pizza, a Peynirli. It wasn't my favorite, but I enjoyed it.

We then treated ourselves to some desserts around town and enjoyed the walk near the Acropolis and learning more about the history here.

The last stop was my favorite, as we had a twist on my favorite dish, Baklava.
