Tana Tamar Tara, the spokesperson of the Arunachal Pradesh Non-APST Offspring ST Surrender Abhiyan Committee, has called upon non-APST offspring currently holding Scheduled Tribe (ST) certificates to voluntarily surrender them.

Following a high-level meeting at Hotel Pybss in Itanagar, which included district representatives and various stakeholders, Tara emphasized the importance of this step in upholding the integrity of the ST category and ensuring fair distribution of resources and benefits.
