In this episode of my road tirp from Sweden to Afghanistanv, I drive to a secluded village (Khuf) in Roshan without any specific destination or contacts, aiming to experience the famed hospitality of the Pamiri people.

The journey includes a harrowing 8 km drive through a valley, which the locals had cautioned me against. Upon arrival, I knock on the first door and meet Shahanshah, who kindly offers to guide me around his village. He introduces me to the nomadic lifestyle and invites me to share a meal, giving me a deep insight into the culture and hospitality of the Pamiri community.
