How to stay in Tokyo on a budget - My Homestay experience with a Japanese Family

Tokyo is one of the most expensive cities in the world, unfortunately accommodation is pricey in the popular metropolis. Instead of staying in expensive hotels, I tried a homestay in Tokyo. A homestay is a cheap alternative and it's a lot more personal and fun!

The best thing about the homestay was getting a glimpse of the daily life of a family who lives in a completely different culture than my own.
