Frédéric Chopin wrote his Sonata for Cello and Piano in G minor, Op. 65 in 1846. It was premiered to years later by dedicatee Auguste Franchomme and Chopin himself, and it became the last of Chopin's works to be published during his lifetime. It is also one of the ver few works by Chopin featuring any other instrument besides the piano (which is present in all of his works). The sonata is in four movements, lasts about 30 minutes, and is remarkable for the thematic conection between movements.

Performed by Yeonjin Kim and Christopher Harding
