The first song, "Mukaito", is the emblem of Mukaito Taiko. The second song, "Maihana", means "Dancing Flower" that is the reason of the arm movements. And the last song, "Taifu", means “Typhoon” -- it shows the strength of nature.

Mukaito Taiko means “The dream of crossing the ocean”. This name alludes to
the wish of the first Taiko group in Argentina originated in Okinawa. It has been 21 years since they “crossed the ocean” and reencountered Japanese immigrants that had chosen Argentina as their new home.

This music group performed in various cultural events spreading Taiko and their culture. They opened their doors offering classes for beginners and the possibility to form a stable group.

Currently this group is made up of Japanese descendants and Argentines that share an interest for their culture.
