We are safe and sound here on our homestead after Hurricane Helene rolled through. Wednesday we worked on getting some bacon bellies on cure, and hanging up already cured coppas for drying. Friday, Helene rolled through and did a lot of damage to our surrounding area in Western North Carolina.
