20:40 What do you think?

Following on from his earlier video discussion with Glenn Gould about Mozart (   • How Mozart Became A Bad Composer: The...  ) Matthew King continues to debate with Gould about the capacity of AI to compose. Here the main question is whether a computer can produce the same compositional results as Mozart, and Matthew transcribes and analyses an AI-generated composition in classical style. He also challenges Gould’s assertion that Mozartean formulae can be reproduced by “a five-year-old after a few weeks of theory lessons”.
