In today's video come extreme clean with me in my kids rooms. I am giving both my girls a room refresh. My 9 year olds room was especially messy. lol They both wants new desks and LED lights, I added a few other things here and there. We had our first week of school and it was great to have everything cleaned, organized, and easy to get ready. The first room reset about took me out!! It was a long full dy of cleaning the room and throwing everything out and it did take a toll on me because it was an extreme mess but I got through it. Kids rooms can be daunting for many of us, sure if we have better routines and we simply clean for them it would be better but also our kids seeing us clean and how we clean does end up shaping them still. My teens room you see is not nearly as bad now that she has outgrown certain toys and play so I am confident my youngest will do the same. She is great at helping and knowing what to do, right down to cleaning surfaces but she hoards craft stuff and I can literally tell her everyday to clean but it never gets fully clean so eventually whats left behind ends up causing the disaster overtime.

So with school starting I said I would help one last time to clean a huge mess and I did after like 2 months of it being her responsibility. I don't expect to never help my kids again and for them to do it all alone perfectly just yet so Im happy to step in and reset things or show them how its done properly but I know they need times to handle things alone to and sometimes even if its not going well before I just fix it. So I hope this inspires and encourages you other caretakers to teach your kids routine or like me finally get in there and take care of business properly starting this school year! I do encourage you to bring the kids along by telling them what to do as you clean and organize so they can begin to understand the steps to take of how to handle cleaning an overwhelming space on their own but getting rid of stuff is the best remedy both for simplicity and times sake for yourself and them that they can handle. I wish you all the best of luck in these situations.lol
