With wood rot and concrete inside of the cupboard in the kitchen, the walls have become mouldy, the timber rotten through, it is time for a bit of light demolition as we determine if the concrete within the cupboard actually has a purpose or is it just causing damp issues.

Being complete beginners at farmhouse renovation, really needing a "homesteading for beginners" guide and now starting amateur archaeology, we are taking it slowly, enjoying everything we do no matter how hard it is, to one day realise our dream of running a fully functioning homestead from our once derelict Irish Farmhouse.
