Original diagnosis was a bad trigger and stator. Replaced both and ended up with a smoking starter selonoid with no spark.... This video is how to replace both the trigger and stator on an inline 4 cylinder. I was hoping the switchbox was operational but "hope" is not a good form of being a Mercury Mechanic....videos are longer to illustrate how much time goes into them. Will it talk?!
