A assembly of films taken in 1909. We visit familiar sites in the cental parts of Stockholm. Commerce at Kornhamnstorg, the alleys in Gamla Stan, traffic around Gustav Adolfs torg, the Parliament, the Royal Castle, the Opera House, the Central Station and finally Djurgården where the Stockholm Exibition of 1909 is about to take place. Interestingly little has changed in these sceneries after 112 years.

The footage has been remastered to 4K 60 frames per second using various AI and software. Sound has been carefully added manually for ambiance and finally the images has been colorized using AI to present this time travel experience.

This is an artistic interpretation of the original footage and is by no means intended to replace the original film and its historical value.

The color and sound is NOT historically accurate and it is added for ambiance.
