The Allotment in October | Autumn allotment jobs | Allotment gardening UK 2024

Hello everyone and welcome to another week in my allotment garden. Even though it's October the sun is still shining and I am attempting to take advantage by getting a few last crops direct sown. I am also planting my garlic and I have to tell you about my tomato disaster...blight...need I say more!!

This is a pretty chatty video. I recorded it while I had a few days holiday so it does cut across a couple of days, right up until the first proper frost.

It includes the varieties: Extra Early Wight, Rhapsody Wight & Caulk Wight

I used up a couple of packets of seed:
Pak Choi Yuushou F1 (Mr Fothergill's)
Spring Onion Ischikrona (Vital Seeds)
